After suffering their first loss since the resumption of the 2020 NRL home-and-away season, the Sydney Roosters eased as premiership favourites from $3.25 to $3.50 at TAB.
The Roosters went down in a nail-biting 27-25 golden point contest against Melbourne at Suncorp Stadium last Thursday night, which resulted in the Storm firming from $7.50 to $6.50.
Parramatta tightened from $4.50 to $4.25 for this season’s title following their 42-4 thrashing of North Queensland at Bankwest Stadium last Friday night.
Penrith ($8 to $7.50) and Newcastle ($21 to $17) also firmed for the 2020 premiership after close victories against Wests Tigers and Manly respectively.
At the other end of the spectrum, Brisbane’s season went from bad to worse after capitulating in the second half to the Warriors in a 26-16 defeat at Central Coast Stadium last Saturday night.
