One TAB customer is hoping Serena Williams can win her eighth Wimbledon Women’s Singles crown placing $5,000 on her to do so at $9 a few weeks ago.
Williams is one win away from equalling Margaret Court’s tally of 24 Grand Slams and achieving a feat that has eluded her in two previous attempts last year at Wimbledon (L. Kerber) and the US Open (L. Osaka).
Serena Williams ($1.52) will take on World Number 7 Simona Halep ($2.50) tomorrow night in the Wimbledon Women’s Singles final.
The American has the better of Halep winning nine of their last 10 encounters and hasn’t lost to her since the 2014 WTA Championships.
Men’s Singles action continues tonight with Novak Djokovic ($1.08) playing Roberto Bautista Agut ($7.50) and is a hot favourite to progress to his sixth Wimbledon final.
The Serbian’s match is followed by a 40th head-to-head meeting between Rafael Nadal ($1.68) and Roger Federer ($2.15) in the second of the Men’s semis.
